As soon as they were featured in both Marc by Marc Jacobs and Giles SS11 Collections I knew they would be big!! Polka Dots have been 'spotted' everywhere and lots of celebrities have been sporting the trend too!

Go Wild .....

Today I am letting out my inner animal with leopard print! I love a bit of leopard print!

I was so pleased when I saw that the SS11 catwalks were going wild for animal prints and it meant that I could pull out my pieces from last season - which I kept in the hope it would come back ..... and it did!

Kooky Prints ...

Bold, Colouful, Kooky prints were splashed on the runways this season. The trend was led by Prada's Banana's, Henry Holland's purple palm leaves and Stella McCartney's oranges and lemons.

This season I have an obession with the Pleated Midi Skirt ...... which stemmed from my lust after the Carrie Skirt.

The Scarf .....

So this week I am doing a Damart Challenge .... I want to make you think again about shops you would not usually shop at and show you how you can find great pieces from stores you never thought were right for you! Damart has some great key pieces, which when mixed in with your basics can create on-trend outfits ....

I am starting with scarves which are a perfect accessory for every season and can easily transform any outfit. Quickly forget those short scarves, the latest trend are oversized ones loosely draped.

Today I wearing a Striped Scarf from Damart which I have teamed a White Vest and Jeggings from H & M .......

Lindsay Lohan is only one of the long list of celebrities who are fans of the oversized scarf.

Colour Blocking ....

Firstly I want to say thank you for your lovely comments and sorry for not getting back to you - unfortunately there is a fault with blogger, which they are trying to resolve, so it means I can't post comments :(

So I have decided to embrace this trend fully and just go for it!

I must admit that I did initially feel like a traffic light when I stepped on the tube but as I arrived in the office I the girls assured me that I was actually looking good! Phew!!!!!

I teamed up my H & M yellow top with some old jeans I had stored from Dorothy Perkins and some ankle boots from Primark....

They key to this trend is to block colours that complement each other. If you aren’t as daring then use accessories to achieve the look instead.

So it seems that the must have accessory of the moment is the Tribal Necklace ...... they give an exciting modern edge to any outfit. Make sure you keep your hair slicked back to make an accessory statement.

So today I have got the blues ......

Colour Popping...

So I decided to finally brave it and embrace the Colour Blocking trend - it is all about clashing primary colours and acid brights together. If it scares you slightly then you can introduce colour blocking into your outfit by mixing accessories and one bright item of clothing with some neutral shades.

Today I am wearing this amazing colour blocking skirt from Primark! The skirt comes in 3 colourways and I have all 3 - it had to be done! I have teamed it with a H & M vest....

Seen all over the catwalks including Christian Lacroix ...

Sports Luxe ...

Sports Luxe is big news for SS11 with designers teaming soft jersey fabrics, denim and slik for a casual feel. This is one trend I have been wanting to try out for a while now and when I saw it was back for SS11 my search was on to find the ultimate piece ....

My luck was therefore in when I came accross this Cropped Grey Jumper at H & M which I have teamed with some Jeggings and Black Vest Top both from H & M, Scrabble 'L' Ring from Love Hearts and Crosses and my amazing new purchase - Melissa Bow Flip Flops from ASOS....

Bank Holiday Style.....

So I have been enjoying the bank holiday break with a mixture of lie-ins, sunshine and clothes of course!

Here is what I have been wearing -

Saturday - I opted for a floral maxi dress by French Connection which I teamed with an Urban Outfitters brown belt and Gold Flip Flops from Primark .....

From Leopard print to Tiger stripes, Big Cat prints were all over the Catwalks ....
