BDIB - The Maxi

So this is the 5th Bloggers Do It Better Challenge ....... and we have been challenged to wear a Maxi and luckily I have already been trialling out this trend!!

The Maxi is my favourite item from the return of ’70s this Summer. It is such a comfy daytime throw on item and Hollywood celebs seen to be obsessed with it too!

My favourite is this Maxi Skirt from Jane Norman which I teamed with a Black H & M Vest and Faith Wedges ....

Another outfit I have worn this summer, and I love it equally because it is more of a dressed down option, is the Leanne Floral Maxi Skirt from http://www.boohoo.com/ which I teamed with a Topshop Vest and Vintage Belt ....

50' Style Playsuit ....

Playsuits are undoubtedly a summer wardrobe staple and they are so comfy too! This cute Jane Norman 50's style floral number is great. It has big pockets and I am going to be wearing it to all the summer festivals paired with some big sunglasses to achieve a vintage look.

Kooky Prints ...

Bold, Colouful, Kooky prints were splashed on the runways this season. The trend was led by Prada's Banana's, Henry Holland's purple palm leaves and Stella McCartney's oranges and lemons.

Pretty Ballerina ....

This season has seen the return of the pretty ballerina with pastel pleated numbers ....

I am sure by now that you may have gathered that I am in love with pleated skirts this summer and today's reminds me of my lust piece of the season - the Carrie Skirt.
