COWGIRLS WITH THE BLUES.

Anyone remember the couple of preview photos I post a while back of the Wildfox couture S/S 2012 collection? Well, this is finally it. Cowgirls with the blues, who went West. I won't write much, I'll leave it to your imagination... ''She's got control of you... and you love it''.

YOUR HEART IS AS BLACK AS NIGHT

ISABEL LUCAS for Interview magazine October 2011.
Via http://studdedhearts.blogspot.com/
When I saw these photos of the angelic Isabel Lucas I just had to repost them on here, they remind me of some shots taken of Anita Pallenberg in the late 60's.

YOUNG GIRLS ARE COMING TO THE CANYON

The new Spanish Moss lookbook. Suzanne Ford Carafono has done it again with her supreme 70's old Americana styling. I can't wait to see what is in store for American Gold now, if only there were more stockists in the UK, does anyone know of any? P&P is so expensive from America.

THANKYOU FOR THE MUSIC

LARA STONE FOR VOGUE UK OCTOBER 2011
First of all, I am deeply apologetic to all my blog readers who follow me and always give me positive feedback, despite me having been an awful blogger lately. I've had an awful lot going on, I've hardly been at home and I've felt more uninspired than ever before, all this plus a lack of a camera = lack of blog posts, particularly outfit posts. All I've managed to post recently is magazine editorials, which lack individuality when it comes to blogging however (hopefully) do inspire. I am eagerly awaiting the end of this year, so I can mark 2012 not only my 21st birthday but a milestone for a fresh start, and perhaps a slightly new image. For those of you who want to keep up to date with what I'm doing, you can follow me on tumblr or twitter, the links are to the right.
With regards to this editorial, although it's from Vogue UK and the issue has been out for a while so most of you have probably seen it - I still felt the need to post it on this blog. Lara Stone looks like an ideal member of ABBA and pays tribute to the seventies perfectly with her turqoise eyeshadow, turtleneck jumpers and sleek, blonde hair. Seeing as this is primarily a sixties and seventies style blog, I thought this fit in perfectly.

ABBEY LEE FOR i-D FALL 2011

The sixties mod is coming back big time this Autumn/Winter (thank God). And this editorial for Fall i-d by Richard Bush featuring the one & only Abbey Lee shows off the trend perfectly. I can't think of a model of the moment who is better suited to 1960's style than Abbey Lee, I always said she had the perfect face for a 60's dolly girl.

I CAN'T WAIT TO GET ON THE ROAD AGAIN

Natasha Poly again, for Vogue Spain November 2011. She is reminiscent of a young Marianne Faithfull in Girl On a Motorcycle in these shots, and really pulls of the 'boho-biker chic' look. Loving the fringes, leather, studs and blonde hair.
Also, I finally made a Tumblr and a Formspring account. The Tumblr account was due to an outstanding amount of photos I have saved on this laptop needing to be published, and the Formspring is just for any of you who are curious. Find the links on the right hand column of this page!

LA DOLCE VITA

The original Gucci girl - Natasha Poly, in Vogue Spain November 2011. Photography by Mariano Vivanco. Stlying by Sara Fernández. I recently have a fascination with vintage, feminine elegance. Dalmatian prints, furs, and exotic, rich colours. Yesterday I invested in some Yves Saint Laurent lipstick in shade #33, and shall be wearing it all winter with my fur coat & dalmatian boots. Just so I can pretend my name is Luciana and I live in a movie such as The Tourist.
