The sixties mod is coming back big time this Autumn/Winter (thank God). And this editorial for Fall i-d by Richard Bush featuring the one & only Abbey Lee shows off the trend perfectly. I can't think of a model of the moment who is better suited to 1960's style than Abbey Lee, I always said she had the perfect face for a 60's dolly girl.
When I saw these photos of Abbey Lee Kershaw for Mania Mania on http://oraclefox.blogspot.com/ I just had to re-blog them. As usual, anything with Abbey Lee featured catches my eye, but in these photos especially, she looks particularly fresh faced and the amazing kaleidoscopic imagery portrays her image, the brand and the jewellery just perfectly.
I found this photo of Abbey Lee on http://stockholm-streetstyle.com/. I love the way she always combines several trends in one through layering. It's a mixture of all my favourite trends, bohemian, gothic, rock & roll and casual grunge. She pulls it off so well, maybe because she's a model, but I wish it really was that easy to walk down the street wearing items of clothing that completely clash but at the same time look brilliant, just because you can't decide whether you want to dress influenced by Stevie Nicks or Kate Moss for the day. Why not wear it all in one?!
These photos of Abbey Lee from Japanese Vogue July 2010 are making me want to cut all my hair off. My hair is so damadged at the ends that I genuinely need about 6 inches off anyway so I guess it would do me good. I'd keep the fringe & keep the colour. Shall I do it?! In other news, I am really ill. I say really ill but all I actually have is a cold, either way, I'm staying in bed. So this probably won't get updated for a few days. Bye now!
