STUDIO 54

When you imagine a 70's nightclub, what do you see?! Disco balls, lit floor, everyone wearing flares & platforms, white suits a la Bianca Jagger, extraordinarily dressed socialites, several floors full of people dancing, cigarette smoke filling the room, perms, and FUNK. Studio 54 was precisely that, the epitomy of a 70's nightclub, or what could now be referred to as a typical 'disco'. If I could choose one era to go back to, I would probably pick the early 70's, and a scene from Studio 54 on a Saturday night. Where rock n' roll was dying out but just still there, and funk was taking its toll. The best era for music, when the Stones, the Beatles and Pink Floyd were at their best, but at the same time, KC & the Sunshine Band, Funkadelic and the Bee Gees appeared. I know exactly what I would wear, I think I'll post a Studio 54 inspired outfit within the next few days if I have the time. I am looking to gather up a group of like minded people who have the skills, interest and scientific knowledge to create a time machine, any volunteers?
