SOUTHAMPTON

I've been away in Southampton for the weekend to visit a friend and to celebrate another friend's birthday, living the university life. It's inspired me to go back into education and to go to uni. I understand it's not all about having fun and it involves heavy studying, but most people say it's the best time of their lives. My sense of humour is somewhat immature and it seemed uni fits that well enough, we spent our time guessing people's names, developing our alter ego's (Peter, Derek & Ian), bouncing on inflatable blow up beds in the hallway, naming the taxi driver Derek then paying for the journey with a metal ring (I'm sure he thought it was genuine silver) and getting ready for a night out listening to Disney songs aka Just Around The Riverbend from Pocahontas. I had such a good time and it was a real change of scenery from the usual. Not sure whether there is much point in looking up going to university, it's too late for 2011 and 2012 will be a waste of time. May just have to go and visit various people at uni each month and pretend that I am a student.
